Both standard product configurations and custom-built configurations are possible. We do this with our own engineers and our own production facility where we manufacture the products for water management and water filtration. Our experience goes back to 1993 and over those years we have built up a deep understanding of the challenges our customers face every day, from municipal water managers and industrial process operators to contractors and engineering firms designing and realising complex water systems.
Self-Cleaning Water Filtration
Clean water is the foundation of every well-run process. Whether you are dealing with industrial process water, cooling water, surface water or wastewater, the quality of the water directly determines the service life of your installations, the continuity of your production and the safety of your environment. Dutch Flow Control supplies self-cleaning water filtration solutions that operate continuously and without interruption, with no need for manual intervention.
Our filtration systems run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. They clean themselves automatically when needed and immediately resume filtration afterwards. There is no downtime, no consumable material and no chemical cleaning. All systems are manufactured from high-grade stainless steel and designed to handle the most demanding industrial conditions.
We offer single systems for applications where one filtration step is sufficient and combined systems where multiple filtration techniques are brought together in a single integrated machine. The filtration range runs from 3 mm down to 3 micron so there is a suitable solution for every contamination load and every flow rate.
Single Self-Cleaning Filtration Systems
Single systems are suited to the large majority of standard filtration applications. Our portfolio includes the parabolic screen bend, the rotary drum filter, the ACF coarse filter, the SCF filter, the HL-SCF filter and the MFF Microfilter. Each system has its own operating principle and area of application and together they cover the full range from coarse separation to fine microfiltration at 3 micron.
Combined Self-Cleaning Filtration Systems
For demanding processes where a single filtration step is not enough we combine multiple self-cleaning systems into an integrated machine. Typical applications include industrial filtration systems at 50 or 3 micron, mobile drinking water machines, mobile wastewater treatment units and replacement solutions for underperforming sand filters. Turnkey systems built into standard shipping containers are also available.
Regulating and Guiding Water Flows
Alongside water filtration, Dutch Flow Control supplies solutions for flow control. Flow Control is about controlling, regulating and guiding water flows across a wide range of environments: from municipal water infrastructure and sewer systems to industrial process installations, irrigation systems and engineered waterways in public spaces.
Water that is not properly managed causes damage to infrastructure, loss of valuable process water and unwanted conditions in the surrounding environment. With the right components and systems, water management becomes predictable and reliable. We supply the technology to make that happen, tailored to the specific requirements of each project.
Flow Comtrol systems are becoming increasingly complex and the demands placed on them are growing. Automation and data are playing an ever greater role. Dutch Flow Control develops and supplies systems that are ready for that future and that can be seamlessly integrated with existing control and monitoring infrastructure.
Mobile Drinking Water Machines
Access to clean drinking water cannot be taken for granted everywhere. For situations where water infrastructure is absent, has temporarily failed or needs to be realised at short notice, Dutch Flow Control supplies mobile drinking water machines. These systems can be deployed quickly, operate independently of the electricity grid and convert river water, groundwater, brackish water or seawater into drinking water that meets international quality standards.
Our mobile systems are suitable for application at humanitarian aid operations, in developing countries, at remote construction sites and as a temporary facility for communities waiting for a permanent water connection. Simplicity and reliability are the primary design principles: the systems can be operated by local personnel with minimal training and require very little maintenance.
